Sunday School

Springdale has Sunday School classes for everyone age 3 through 103 (or more). Classes meet from 9:30 am to 10:15 am each Sunday morning.

Primary Department Children (age 3 through grade 5) are welcomed at 9:30 with group time downstairs in the Gathering Hall. After 10 minutes of singing, celebrating birthdays, collecting offering and various other activities, the children are divided into age groups for Biblical instruction.

Junior MYF (Mennonite Youth Fellowship) class is focused on Middle School age youth. Class time consists of Bible reading, discussion, activities related to the Scripture, sharing and prayer.

The MYF welcomes all High School age youth for Biblical instruction in light of real life experiences.

All adults are welcome to several different elective Sunday School classes occurring each Sunday morning.

Nursery/Childcare

Our nursery rooms are open for children ages newborn through 3 years during Sunday School and the Worship Service. The rooms are staffed by members of our church family during these times each Sunday morning. Parents are welcome to stay with their child/ren or leave them in the care of the volunteers.

The Nursery is also staffed during our Wednesday Evening School for Christian Living classes.

Vacation Bible School

Springdale has an exciting, lively and fun Bible School program each summer for children age 3 through grade 5. In 2011, VBS was held June 12-16. Each evening began with a meal served at 5:30 pm, followed by times of group singing, crafts, games and Bible stories. The evenings also ended with group singing.

School for Christian Living

Springdale provides 6-week classes for adults twice a year on Wednesday evenings. The Fall session begins in October and the Winter session begins in January. In each session, we study, discuss and pray together based on a variety of topics, books of the Bible, or current issues in the world around us. These groups meet from 6:30 to 7:30 pm to coincide with other Worship on Wednesday activities. Click here for a description of our current, most recent or upcoming class(es).

Clubs

Each Wednesday evening during the school year, the children (age 3 through grade 5) gather at 6:30pm for our Clubs program. They participate in active games, craft projects, Bible Story times and a variety of other activities until 7:30pm. Children who do not attended Springdale regularly are also involved in this program and anyone is very welcome to join this time.
